Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SudoCTF, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Platform Purpose

SudoCTF is an educational cybersecurity platform designed for:

• Learning and practicing cybersecurity skills
• Competitive programming and problem-solving
• Building a community of security professionals
• Ethical hacking education and training

User Accounts

Account registration and authentication:

• Accounts are created exclusively through OAuth providers (GitHub or Discord)
• One account per person only - multiple accounts are prohibited
• You must provide accurate information during OAuth authentication
• Country selection is required for competition purposes
• You are responsible for securing your OAuth provider account
• Account sharing or credential sharing is strictly prohibited
• We do not store or manage passwords - authentication is handled by your chosen OAuth provider

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform responsibly and ethically:

• Follow all competition rules and guidelines
• Respect other participants and maintain fair play
• Do not attempt to hack or compromise the platform
• Report security vulnerabilities responsibly
• Use knowledge gained for educational purposes only

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly forbidden:

• Creating multiple accounts or account sharing
• Automated submission tools or scripts
• Denial of service attacks or system disruption
• Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate content
• Reverse engineering platform infrastructure
• Commercial use without explicit permission

Intellectual Property

All challenges, content, and platform features are protected by intellectual property rights. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

Competition Integrity

To maintain fair competition:

• All submissions must be your own original work
• Collaboration is only allowed within designated team challenges
• Suspected cheating will result in account suspension
• Decisions by administrators are final

Content and Submissions

By submitting content to the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, modify, and display your submissions for platform operations and improvement.

Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from platform use, technical issues, or data loss.

Account Management and Termination

Account lifecycle and termination policies:

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Users may delete their accounts through the platform's account settings
• Account deletion is immediate and permanent
• OAuth provider account status affects platform access - disabled OAuth accounts cannot access SudoCTF
• Upon account deletion, personal data is removed but anonymized competition statistics may be retained

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
